Two heavy-weight rock bands are teaming up for a short U.S. tour that will be a knockout with fans.
Skillet and Seether are teaming up for an 18-city U.S. tour that will span five weeks. The tour starts on Sept. 17 in Asheville, North Carolina and conclude on Oct. 20 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Special guests are still to be announced.
The tour will arrive in Houston on Saturday, Oct. 5 at the White Oak Music Hall. Tickets for this all ages show go on sale at 10 a.m., Friday, July 12.
Seether is hitting the road just in time for the release of its latest album, “The Surface Seems So Far,” which drops on Sept. 20. The first single, “Judas Mind,” is out now.
Seether formed in South Africa in 1999 and relocated to the United States in 2002. That is the same year the band’s popularity surged due to the rock radio hit, “Fine Again.” The band has many other hit songs to its credit, including “Gasoline,” “Broken,” “Remedy,” “Fake It,” “Country Song” and more.
Skillet formed in 1996 and is from Memphis, Tenn. The Christian hard rock quartet achieved mainstream success due to the huge popularity of its rock radio hit, “Monster.” The group has released 11 studio albums and is also known for its hit songs “Awake and Alive,” “Hero,” and “Feel Invincible.”
The band’s last studio album, “Dominion,” was released in January 2022 and peaked at No. 38 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart and No. 2 on the U.S. Christian albums chart.
